So begins the last year of my 20's

It's official... I am now 29 years old... feels much like it did when I was 28 ;~) Although someone did mention that it was my last year of my 20's and that struck me as odd... not good, not bad... just odd. I happen to like where my life is leading me right now so being another year older doesn't really bother me ;~)

I had a fantastic rest of the day yesterday!

Dinner at Bicycle with Adam, Dad and Stacie was absolutely divine... I encourage anyone in the area to make it a point to have dinner there! For an appetizer I had Sashimi Tuna and Avocado Tartare, for dinner I had Tenderloin of Beef and for dessert I had a dense warm chocolate cake that absolutely melted in my mouth... easily one of the best desserts I have ever had. I even splurged and had a glass of merlot... and boy was it good!

Dad surprised me with a brand new digital camera of which I am thrilled about. I really wanted a nice camera of my own when I am home with Peabert all day long. I love to take pictures and I have a feeling he will be a perfect subject ;~) The camera also serves a dual purpose... Dad and Stacie will be receiving many, many, many pictures and videos of little man! It will be a great way for us to keep in touch through the distance ;~)

It really was a nice birthday... So many people sent me birthday wishes, it made me feel very loved. Thanks to everyone out there that gave me that feeling ;~) I am blessed.

You always give good restaurant recommendations! Can't wait to try it. Glad you had a nice birthday. 29 on the 29th is definitely a special one!

Just FYI - Tuna has a lot of mercury in it so you may want to be careful....

Yes, and while we're pointing the five hundred things pregnant women have to be careful of, please be sure not to chew on any toys from China.

...I'm just sayin'

You've got to eat a fair bit of tuna for it to be a problem. I doubt your dinner out put you over the edge (unless you're a closet tuna snacker or something....!)

Vicki - thanks but generally these recommendations come from dad! I just follow his lead ;~)

Tom - thanks for the birthday wishes! Right back atcha! and some would say 40 is still youngster!

anon - I am not going to explain myself to you other than saying, you can't possibly love or want better for the child I am carrying than I do. That being said, I do my own research and make my own decisions. Thanks.

Other anon - still laughing!

vicki - right there with ya! I figured one appetizer wasn't going to do Peabert and I in... and we are so NOT closet tuna snackers... the occasional tuna casserole and that's it ;~) BTW - I miss you... we need to get together soon... I will email today or tomorrow ;~)
