Tap Tap Tap

Is this thing on? It's been a long time since I have been this MIA. To the 3 loyal readers left, my apologies.

We're doing well here at the G household. I'm finally starting to get my energy back but only in small stints. I'll have one night where I get a ton done and feel on top of the world... then 3 nights of 'can't make it past 8'. I have managed to pull out my scrapbooking stuff and my sewing machine... both of which I have made progress on! Small steps but steps nonetheless.

Of course I speak better in pictures so here are a few shots from life.

Bamma got her brand spanking new iPad this past Friday and as you can see... she already lost control of it. As you might have guessed, he is already pretty proficient at the touch screen technology. On my iPhone there is a whole page dedicated to 'Chase apps' and he knows how to turn it on, unlock it, swipe to his page and pick his favorite. What can I say... technology is the future and this kid will be at the forefront.

I digress... Bamma and her iPad. It was love at first UPS delivery. This is precisely what she has been wanting from Apple and she is just thrilled to finally have it. Me... serious case of iPad envy going on. The thing is awesome.

Just like last year we are planting a garden... and just like last year 'we' is more like 'Adam'. We have 5 herbs planted, tomatoes, peppers, banana peppers, squash, sunflowers... and the one I am most hopeful about is the...

My own raspberry bush? Heaven on earth. The amount of raspberries that Chase and I could put down... it will put anyone to shame. I hope and pray with all my might that this plant does well... thrives... spreads and the house becomes lined with raspberry bushes. Heaven on earth.

My friends and I celebrated the impending arrival of yet another baby into our mix. Mandy (in blue) is due in the next couple weeks! We did the gift/big sister basket thing but in addition, Dannette had the awesome idea of making an embarrassing basket... and anyone who has had a baby can just imagine what kinds of items went into that. This isn't for the faint of heart!

I think we made an impression on our waiter/waitress ;~) This little card was in each on of our bills.

Just like with Chase, I am doing my best to take weekly shots of my growing belly. I bought the same belly book I have for Chase and I am keeping it up to date with all the tidbits about this pregnancy. To you naysayers... yes I am doing it with the 2nd... just like you said I wouldn't. Go ahead, say I won't do it with my 3rd... it only makes me try harder ;~)

I digress. This day Chase wanted in on my picture action...

He very much loves lil bean already and talks about him/her a lot.

And he is always ready with a kiss. He's going to make a good big brother. If you ask him if he wants a sister or a brother, he always says sister...

every. single. time.

If we aren't having a girl, I have some serious explaining/convincing to do.

If you see a shadowy figure, 'bout 3 ft tall, curly 'fro lurking around your raspberry plant, that would be my child, who singlehandedly wipes out most of Giant's berry stock on a weekly basis. (And those are some fun diapers afterwards, don't ya think??!) :-)

Warning warning warning! We moved into our place and have raspberry bushes in the back. I was so excited...till I saw how they sent their suckers ALL OVER THE YARD. Keep careful watch of your raspberries they are quite invasive! I'm looking forward to the fruit, but it's turning out to be more work than I ever imagined!

Just wanted to warn you since no one ever warned me. :)

Glad to see you're doing another garden this year! We break ground for ours Tuesday and I couldn't be more excited. It's going to be pretty big!
